If you're in or around Congleton and looking for a vet, I genuinely can't recommend Millie's Vets highly enough. They're Congleton's only independent veterinary practice and the care Winnie has received has been outstanding. From the initial consultations and surgery through to the aftercare, every member of the team has been kind, compassionate, professional, and reassuring. Nothing has ever felt like too much trouble, and they've always taken the time to explain everything clearly. Seeing Winnie recovering so well is down in no small part to the incredible care she has received from the whole team. We are so grateful for everything you've done for her. My sister brought our family dog down today (Roxy) as on thursday she had lost use of her legs. After being lied to by the emergency vets the same night and sent away with painkillers and told in 2 days she'd be walking again we just knew something was not right. My sister got an appointment here for this morning and the vet knew straight away with full honesty that she needed to be put to sleep (Dr Chris Lalley) as she was an old girl and suffering with her health. We couldn't thank you enough for making a heartbreaking time feel much more relaxed and what a lovely man he was the care by the team was outstanding. We've never met a veterinary surgery so compassionate not only towards animals but the owners aswell. The lady who sat with Roxy and rubbing her tummy/under her chin whilst the injection was being done was also lovely🥺 her little tail was still wagging before she sadly but peacefully passed away💔. Millie's vets go above and beyond for both the pets and the owners. I unfortunately had to have my 14 year old rabbit Harry put to sleep today. Not only did they make sure Harry was settled but also did there absolute best to make sure I was okay to. They give me chance to say goodbye and nothing felt rushed. Having moved to Congleton we have registered with Millie’s vets, we explained our Rottweiler is very anxious and terrified of vet’s visits however they have been amazing, from the moment we arrived the practice staff gave him gentle encouragement and he soon entered the vets and began to settle, James was also reassuring and supportive and settled our own anxiety instantly We already know we can trust this practice we never thought our dog would be as he was and although we are at the start of his journey we are encouraged and grateful for their support already Highly recommended
